Happy New Year!

Man oh man. So much has happened in the last year. What I'd like to vent about right now is as follows....
Between Feet and myself, we have umteen songs and what has been on the back burner for so long has been moved to the front burner. This weekend we began to swim through the long anticipated recording process. Thank you, Pops. It's that much better because we're working with you. I have yearned for years, yes, years to listen to a studio recording from this band. I have dedicated myself to this, because like a love, this is pure organic passion. I truly believe I exist because of music. I return "home" tonight, knowing that we are a unique and special band, and we will never be short of bringing new songs to the table. There is so much music we want to share with you all. Please stay tuned, and come see us. It just keeps getting better and better all the time....

P.S. Thank you Phish for coming back to play for us! Can't wait to see you guys, my greatest musical inspiration.

Rest in peace Mike Kemp, bass. You are music.

Yep, it's that time again. Boy, if I wrote about all that's happened/happening in the last year I'd be here for days. It's good to be on the east coast again. My house (The Chauffeur's Cottage, an old stone house on this amazing estate)has breathtaking views of The Shawangunk Mountains. The place, well, I'm still working on it. Venues are treating us well, and it's nice to have friends and family nearby. I miss my CA friends, especially you, Brandon. You're the coolest. Hope you're not taking out too many Soquel High girls with your electric wheelchair this year. I miss Mr. Wolf, too. Crazy, vibrant mo fo, and what a heart. The seasons are great. Fall just seemed to go on and on, maybe because I hadn't seen fall since '98. The Adirondacks rule. Felice, no more waiting (except for this freakin' ice storm to pass). You are my sunshine. Teaching piano is a blast, although recruiting students hasn't been as easy as I hoped. Grace, my 5 year old student is a musical genius, already writing songs. I just want to say that I love my band. There's nothing like the experience of playing live with those guys. Haven't seen a good show in quite sometime. I can't wait to tour out west again, but it looks like talks of an east coast tour are first in line. Sorry, Diane. Julie, I hope your new place is working out well. Ray, Ruggles, I hope you guys are rockin' the west coast. Man, I wish you two could have joined forces with us. Anyway, is continues to take baby steps. I know there's something special about us. Many songs sleep in my man-womb. Hope to get 'em out there. Vermont, see you tomorrow.

Great to be home. Still recovering from Thanksgiving. Thanks for all of your hard work, Mom. Eenika and Junnie's baby is looking less and less Chinese by the day, not that Chinese would have been bad. Having lots of fun playing with my nephew, Jaxon (almost 2). Going out tonight w/ friends. Missing the MMW/Scofield show, though. You can't have everything, folks. I know it's the day after Thanksgiving, but I want to remind you all (including myself) to be thankful for what you have. Do you have a bed, a roof over your head, someone you love to think about? Life ain't so bad, is it? Go see live music. Cheers........

I figured it was about time again that I put something here. It always feels kind of weird because I never really know who I'm talking to. So,....uh...ok. Not having a show in the last few weeks has been kind of a bummer, but a good thing. I'm excited about all of the new material we're working on. I'm always itching to get new stuff in to our set. It's been a great, yet tough summer. Had an almost 8 year relationship w/ my girlfriend end in July. It might take two to make it work, but it only takes one to make it end. So,....what do you do? You just let it be, sweep yourself up, shake, and pour out the new and hopefully improved you. I miss my cat, Wolfie more than I can describe. He was my zen. Anyway, I loved our tour (and we'll be doing another in Oct.), and loved seeing my family and friends in upstate New York, my true home. Jaxon, my nephew and godson, you are always in my thoughts. Can't wait to see the new edition in November! Hope you're feeling well, Eenika. We (the band) went and saw The Duo, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, and Apollo Sunshine the other night in S.F. Great music!!!! Thank-you gentleman for the inspiration. We rocked at rehearsal the next night! I have some new equipment/toys that I'm getting acquainted with, namely my new old rhodes......ain't nothin' like it. We continue to improve and I can't wait until our next show. Shit, I can't wait until our next rehearsal. So that's really all I want to say. Cheers.

Colorado, we made it. It's absolutely beautiful here. Just finished breakfast after sleeping in the van last night with the boys. Lets just say that it was intimate. Due to the sensitive nature of the events that occured, I am unfortunately unable to go into details (hee hee). We're off to Denver tonight, Telluride tomorrow, and Gunnison on Saturday. We'd like to see some more people coming out, however the folks that have seen us the last few shows have been quite enthusiastic about our music. All in all, it's been a great trip, and just the beginning of many more. Love to my family and friends.

Ok folks, I'm back. We're currently in Santa Rosa. Played The Starry Plough lst night; "Night of the Buffalo Spring Fawn". The Calistoga Inn is tonight. Just had a great pitcher of Nut Brown at Third Street Ales and noticed this internet cafe' near by, so I thought it might be a good opportunity to say hello to my 10's of thousands of fans, or at least to Tommy and Brad. Hope the transition's going well, Tommy. Brad, there will be no mention of your vast and potent connection with true gayness, other than this sentence. Looking forward to eating some beef tonight. Cheers!

Happy New Year everyone! My trip back east is coming to an end and it's been a day to day adventure. Just finished packing up all of my equipment and will be shipping it back to CA tomorrow. Had a great time seeing family (especially my nephew, who is a beautiful kid, just about to turn one). I can't thank them enough for all the help that they offered. There was the loan for the shirts from Dad, my Mom and sisters working merch for us on the 30th, having a vehicle to use, Dad helping with the shipping on the way back, etc. Also, thanks to my Mom for putting us up for two nights in a hotel in New Paltz for the shows. Thanks to Felice and Joy for being available to help us out with merch. Junnie and Alan, thanks for being available to work the door. Rachel, thanks so much for your help and support. Hope Dr. Feet is fixing you up just right. Thank you to all of my old friends for taking the time to come out and see me do the thing that I live for. Jason & Jill (hope the migrane subsided), Craig & Sara (sp?, sorry, it's been awhile), Rachel & Gary, Jen (I'll see you out west), Marcus & Amy, Kyle (sorry you had to drive back home that night), just want to let you know I'm grateful for y'all. Tommy Moore, you get the award for greatest New Years surprise. We had written you off for this trip. I know it wasn't an easy decision, but thanks for being there. Can't forget to thank some old New Paltz Indian Summer friends for coming by: Rebecca, Rachel, Trish, Jamie, etc. I also want to thank all of my (and Feet and Tucks) relatives and wonderful family friends that came (too many to list) to the shows. You really made this a special event for us. Mrs. Tuckman, you are such a sport for coming out to see us. Best of luck with your continued healing. Pops, great to see you and thanks for all of your help. Alena, Wolfie and Caspia, thanks for your love, support, and inspiration. I miss you guys. Tuck and Feet, thanks for the great music and friendship. Our time will come. If there is anyone I'm leaving out, I am truly sorry. Let me know and I'll make up for it! Again, Happy New Year! Spread the love and keep the faith!

It's been a long time. Life has been busy and exciting the last few months. From my sister getting married back home in N.Y. to my hike w/ Alena to Alta Peak and in the following week to Mt. Whitney, the continental U.S.'s highest peak, and of course playing shows and working on new material, etc. life has been busy and eventful. We're really looking forward to playing 12/30 and 12/31 in New Paltz, NY and hope you'll all come and have the time of your lives. We're talkin' N.Y. baby, no being cutoff at midnite or 1 am. These shows will go late. I think about and miss my friends and family back east alot and I know Feet and Tuck do, too. We hope these shows will be a great opportunity to bring together a bunch of great people to celebrate life and toast the end and beginning of another year. For you west coast friends, keep checking our dates page, as we've got lots of shows coming up the next couple of months.

My boys are almost back from the east. Let the music resume. Viva La Musica! 3 shows coming up folks, starting with Tuck's b'day show at the Coastline tomorrow night. Show him your love.
After our friday night show at the Yankee, we'll be driving up to Pt. Reyes, camping in Olema Ranch Campground. The Saturday 8/6 is fieldtrip will be departing the campground at approximately 1pm, sharp. (That's a joke.) We will be returning at 4:30 pm for show prep. After we rock The Old Western, we will return to the campground at approximately 3 am, where all partying shall resume, even though Tuck may try to sleep. Remember kids, be safe. Peace, love and music to you all!

Hello earthlings. I've arrived and it feels good to finally be here. It's been a crazy week, but knowing that our Tahoe trip awaits (this weekend), I feel great. I will eventually have something to say when I get some freakin' time. Caspia, I miss you. You are the sweetest craziest kittie and I hope you're ok. Hope to see y'all in Tahoe. Brad's gay.
